Notting Hill

Introducing Notting Hill

From its pastel townhouses to the Caribbean carnival, Notting Hill is one of London’s most iconic neighbourhoods. Wander down picturesque Portobello Road to browse its famous antiques shops, or stop in for some street food from Portobello Market. The Electric Cinema, (on the same street), is also worth a trip for a luxurious cinema experience, complete with sofas, beds and excellent food.

      The Carnival

Established in 1966, the Notting Hill Carnival takes place every August Bank Holiday and is Europe’s biggest street festival. Come for some of the best and the worst dancing you will ever see in one place.

Its physical charms are many and undeniable, and few areas pack in so diverse and plentiful a stretch of shopping and grazing possibilities.
