Introducing Putney

With its peaceful park and fresh riverside air, Putney, on the bank of the Thames, is a tranquil spot. Long a favourite promenading spot for Londoners from far and wide, today the river bank is best known for its waterside pubs and gastronomic gems. Visit in spring and you might see the Oxford and Cambridge University rowing teams shooting by in the annual boat race.
