It may be the heart of the old East End, but Bethnal Green has never stopped changing, with each new wave of residents leaving their own mark. This used to be London’s Jewish district, and you can see the area’s roots in the hot salt beef of Bethnal Green’s bagel shops. Today, Brick Lane has transformed into a bustling street lined with some of London’s finest (and hottest) curry houses.
